SERB AMBASSADORS AND CONSUL GENERALS IN LETTER TO PRESIDENT: WE WILL ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SRPSKA INSTITUTIONS’ DECISIONS

EAST SARAJEVO, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ – Serb ambassadors and general consuls of BiH have rejected the unconstitutional BiH Court's second-instance judgment against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, emphasizing that in their future service at the top diplomatic positions in host countries and international organisations, they will treat the judgment as legally null and void, unconstitutional, and politically motivated with the goal of forcibly discrediting the legally and legitimately elected pr

The Serb ambassadors and general consuls of BiH sent an open letter to the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, which SRNA publishes in full: "Dear Mr. President, Given the fact that we were all appointed as Serb ambassadors and general consuls of BiH by the Serb member of the BiH Presidency upon the proposal of the president of Republika Srpska, we feel the need to publicly state our position and reject the second-instance judgment of the unconstitutional Court of BiH, which represents nothing more than a form of political persecution of the democratically, legally, and legitimately elected president of Republika Srpska. At a time when the rule of law and democracy are in decline due to the actions of a foreign occupying force in BiH, we, Serb ambassadors and general consuls of BiH, note that the state community of BiH no longer has a foreign policy. Therefore, in our future work, we will act solely in accordance with the decisions and guidelines of the elected representatives of the Serb people and the institutions of Republika Srpska. In our further service at the highest diplomatic positions in host countries and international organisations, we will treat this judgment as legally void, unconstitutional, and politically motivated aimed at forcibly discrediting the legally and legitimately elected president of Republika Srpska. In our future communication, we will be guided by the Conclusions of the Republika Srpska National Assembly from December 25, 2024, which state that the unconstitutional BiH Prosecutor’s Office and Court led a politically fabricated process against the president of Republika Srpska, who acted solely in accordance with his constitutional and legal powers and responsibilities. We will send verbal notes to all relevant addresses covered by our diplomatic missions, condemning the existence of an illegal and beyond-Dayton occupation administrations in BiH, headed by German national Christian Schmidt, who falsely presents himself as the High Representative. This German national, through illegal impositions outside constitutional and parliamentary procedures, supported by certain Western countries using their resources to enable his dictatorial actions in BiH, is directly undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement, Dayton institutions, the constitutional position of Republika Srpska within the BiH state community, and is discriminating against and nullifying the electoral will of the Serb constituent people. We will remind host countries and international organisations that the European Union clearly stated in its 2019 Opinion that the use of so-called 'Bonn Powers' is incompatible with BiH’s European future. And yet today, through its commissioners in the European Commission, it supports these same dictatorial powers of the false High Representative and the dismantling of BiH’s democratic institutions, clearly demonstrating that BiH has no European future. In closing, we once again express our loyalty to the constitutional and democratic institutions of Republika Srpska, which we come from and which is our only homeland.
