ĆETKOVIĆ: SUPPORT FOR DODIK, SRPSKA NOT FOR SALE

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 8 /SRNA/ – The Head of the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Germany Mićo Ćetković has expressed his support for the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik following an unjust and politically motivated the BiH Court’s judgment and called on all political, social, and institutional stakeholders to demonstrate unity at this time of attack on constitutional order.

Ćetković told SRNA that the attack on Milorad Dodik is an attack on Republika Srpska itself, which he described as the result of a historic struggle for freedom, and as such, it is not for sale, nor subject to blackmail or submission. He stated that the Court of BiH's judgment represents a dangerous and direct blow to the constitutional order, political autonomy, and dignity of Srpska. "Accepting it would mean consenting to an illegitimate and unilateral legal framework that seeks to criminalize the legitimate political actions of democratically elected Serb people's representatives," Ćetković said. He emphasized that Milorad Dodik, as president, has consistently represented the interests of Republika Srpska in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution of BiH. "His determination to reject unlawful and imposed decisions by an illegitimate, self-proclaimed High Representative is a fight to preserve the institutional and popular integrity of Republika Srpska. In this context, we call on all political, social, and institutional stakeholders to demonstrate unity, determination, and responsibility at this critical moment," Ćetković concluded.
