GREAT INTEREST OF TOURISTS FROM EGYPT IN NATURAL BEAUTIES OF SRPSKA
BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 15 /SRNA/ – Tourists from Egypt are interested in the natural beauties of Republika Srpska and rafting on the Tara River, and starting next year, a larger number of tourists and charter flights from Egypt to Banja Luka are planned, the owner of the “RT” Rafting Center, Milan Govedarica, told SRNA.
Govedarica stated that today the “RT” Rafting Center in Foča was visited by about forty representatives of Egyptian tourist agencies and influencers who are staying in BiH, and who conveyed that there is great interest in visiting Republika Srpska and rafting on the Tara River. “A larger number of tourists from Egypt is expected to arrive. This year, several charter flights from Egypt to Sarajevo are planned. Next year, there should be more than 50 charter flights bringing tourists from Egypt to visit BiH. The plan is for them to come for rafting on the Tara River. They are delighted with the nature. Next year, charter flights to Banja Luka are also planned,” Govedarica emphasized. He added that the arrival of influencers from Egypt is particularly important for the promotion of the tourist potential of Republika Srpska. “This is good advertising not only for rafting, but also for the entire Republika Srpska and BiH,” Govedarica stated. The Ministry of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska told SRNA that such organized visits of representatives of the tourism and media sectors and influencers are a form of promotion that has proven to be among the most successful. In the coming period, the Ministry noted, activities will be intensified regarding cooperation with Egypt and the promotion of the tourist offer on this market, which was the subject of discussions during the recent visit of the Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathy, to Republika Srpska.
