DODIK: SINCE WHEN HAS THE BRITISH AMBASSADOR BECOME INTERPRETER OF THE CONSTITUTION AND LAWS?!

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 23 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik emphasized that the behavior of the British Ambassador to BiH, Julian Reilly, has long ceased to be that of a diplomat and instead represents the behavior of a political vulture.

"Since when has the British Ambassador become the interpreter of the Constitution and the law, and since when does he decide what is legal and what is not?" Dodik asked, reacting to Reilly’s statement that the ruling of the Court of BiH against the President of Republika Srpska must be respected and that holding a referendum on any court ruling would be contrary to the rule of law and the constitutional order. Dodik pointed out that the court and the verdict in BiH are so “independent” that it would have been more honest if the British ambassador had been sitting in the place of the prosecutor and the judges, but that he didn’t even need to, since he had his loyal followers in Sarajevo. All of this, Dodik noted, comes from the same “kitchen” that is now lecturing Republika Srpska. "It is fascinating how much you underestimate the intelligence of the Serbs and think that we will swallow British cynicism. How come that the United Kingdom can hold a referendum to leave the EU, Scotland can decide its own path in a referendum, yet Serbs in Republika Srpska are denied that right?", Dodik asked. He added that he knows Reilly is bothered by the fact that, in Republika Srpska, a referendum is an expression of the people’s will, not an order from foreigners. "But that will is stronger than any dictate. The fact that he suffers from a colonial power complex does not mean that Republika Srpska accepts being a colony. The behavior of Julian Reilly has long ceased to be diplomatic and now represents the behavior of a political vulture. His level is Vukanović and Zagorka Grahovac. He is not fit for anything better," Dodik wrote on X.
