DODIK: MUSLIM SARAJEVO ADVOCATES POLITICS OF INTEGRATED UNITARY BiH
BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 25 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that today Muslim Sarajevo voted against U.S. President Donald Trump being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, which, according to him, shows that some are advocating a policy of an integrated unitary BiH.
Dodik reminded that the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, submitted an initiative to the Presidency of BiH to nominate U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, and that the other two Presidency members spent the entire day demanding for the item to be removed from the agenda. "When she refused to do so, they then rejected including it in the agenda, but Mrs. Cvijanović, after the conclusion of today’s session, resubmitted it and requested for the vote to be taken at the next session," Dodik told TV Informer. Dodik pointed out that rallies had been held in Sarajevo against the current U.S. President, and that Bakir Izetbegović, Željko Komšić, and Denis Bećirović pursue a politics of hatred. "That politics of hatred is based on the idea that Trump's will pass, and that they will return to the old ways. They are still being encouraged by remnants of the deep state to act in certain ways, and this is the best proof of how they treat the initiatives we put forward," Dodik said. He emphasized that Trump’s arrival did not solve all of Srpska’s problems, but that it is still easier than during the administration of Joseph Biden. The President of Srpska reminded that he and his family had been subjected to attacks, including investigations into whether his five-year-old grandson owned any property or bank accounts. "These are things that cannot be explained to people who have not experienced them. It is completely abnormal," Dodik said. He added that sanctions have not been lifted, but that life is still somewhat easier since there are no longer harsh assaults.
