DODIK: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA WILL LIVE TO BECOME INDEPENDENT FROM SARAJEVO

BELGRADE, AUGUST 25 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that Republika Srpska will live to become independent from Sarajevo.

"BiH is an impossible, failed state, divided along every seam. There is nothing there except propaganda that tries to create a story about some harmony, but it is impossible to find any element of togetherness," Dodik has stated tonight for TV Informer. Dodik emphasized that the Serbs brought Republika Srpska into the Dayton Agreement, which had its own territory, army, and was a state. Dodik reiterated that the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH is acting against the Constitution, which states that the president cannot be dismissed by a court decision. "The constitutional order is made up of the Constitution of BiH, the Constitution of Republika Srpska, and the Constitution of the Federation of BiH, and lower acts, such as laws, cannot override the constitution. The Constitution says that a president can leave office only if he resigns or if he is recalled," Dodik said. Dodik reminded that the National Assembly clearly stated there will be no elections for president, that they will be boycotted. According to him, Christian Schmidt imposed a decision according to which everything against BiH represents a violation of the constitutional order. "They will destroy all of us through a quasi-court. This is not a story about Milorad Dodik, this is about the attack on the Constitution, on institutions. What more should we expect? The ultimate goal is the abolishment of Republika Srpska, and I am a disruptive factor because I have a stance. I don’t have an army, I don’t have an intelligence service—how am I a disruptive factor?" Dodik stressed. When asked about the leader of the List for Justice and Order, Nebojša Vukanović, who stands out in his attacks on Republika Srpska, Dodik emphasized that he is for BiH and that, in order to ingratiate himself with Sarajevo, he is constantly on federal media, where he feeds their vanity.
