STEVANDIĆ: ISIS OPERATES THE SAME WAY AS CHRISTIAN SCHMIDT

BELGRADE, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić said that pressure will not break Republika Srpska, and that those who believe BiH can survive by applying force against Srpska are mistaken.

Stevandić remarked that "only ISIS operates the way Christian Schmidt does," with the difference being that, "here, beheading is not physical, but the institutions are being decapitated". He said they do not understand that such actions only drive more nails into the coffin of peaceful coexistence and the future of BiH, destroying what little connections and shared values remain. "States and societies that don't develop shared values cannot survive. They don't understand that and think BiH can endure through force against Republika Srpska. No. Nothing in this world has ever endured by force, so force against Republika Srpska has no future," Stevandić told the press in Belgrade. When asked what he expects from tomorrow's session of the Central Election Commission /CECE/ of BiH, Stevandić says the CEC is part of a series of wrong decisions and that it is unlikely the CEC members will suddenly show any moral or ethical awakening. "From those who accepted that an illegitimate person like Christian Schmidt, without authority or confirmation by the UN Security Council, could unilaterally amend laws without a parliament, which has never happened in Europe, we cannot now expect that they will correct that through CEC decisions, which is just the last link in a chain of wrong decisions," Stevandić said.
