BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 29 /SRNA/ – Prime Minister-designate for the composition of the Government of Republika Srpska Savo Minić stated that there are reports from the field that the opposition in Srpska wants to call early elections, as well as that the situation is emerging in which someone wants to block the legislative system of Srpska, stressing that at this moment there must be maturity of all political parties in Srpska.

Minić said that the public knows that Republika Srpska and its President Milorad Dodik are under attack because a man who presents himself as the high representative amended the Criminal Code, publishing it on a website. "And the President of the Republic is, according to the Constitution, obliged to promulgate laws by decree. The Constitution of Republika Srpska is the letter of the law for the President, and the President signed the decree, and then all this started, leading to a convicting verdict and a decision to call elections," Minić said at a press conference in Banja Luka after consultations with the academic community and representatives of the Association of Municipalities and Cities, as well as the Serbs from the Federation of BiH /FBiH/. He emphasized that he regrets that representatives of opposition parties did not attend the consultations, because it is proper and in order to say that they do not want to be part of it. Minić believes that this is a turning point when it is necessary to talk to everyone in Republika Srpska, and emphasized that the formation of the new government will enable continuity of policy, since it will be shown that Srpska is strong, powerful, responsible and determined.
