THE BALKANS NEED PEACE AND STABILITY MOST

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 31 /SRNA/ - The Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, Nenad Stevandić, his Montenegrin counterpart Andrija Mandić, and the president of the Democratic People’s Party /DNP/, Milan Knežević, agreed at a meeting in Podgorica that in today’s turbulent and conflict-ridden world, the Balkans needs peace and stability the most.
The participants at today’s meeting emphasized Montenegro’s and Republika Srpska’s commitment to further strengthening good-neighborly relations and developing economic cooperation, which has a key impact on the living standards of citizens, says a press release from the Republika Srpska National Assembly. At the meeting held at the “Gorica” villa, it was emphasized that Republika Srpska and Montenegro are connected by historical and traditional ties, which have always formed the foundation for building peace, stability, cooperation, and economic prosperity in the region. It was highlighted that mutual support has never and will never be directed against anyone else, just as no one else will be able to disrupt this cooperation. During the meeting, they discussed political processes in the region, the European perspective for the Balkans, and the further development of economic cooperation.
