CVIJANOVIĆ: UNILATERAL EU APPROACH DOES NOT CONTRIBUTE TO POLITICAL STABILITY

EAST SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 24 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, at a meeting with European Parliament member from the Patriots for Europe group Antonio Tânger Corrêa, expressed regret over the unilateral and unbalanced approach of the EU, stressing that this does not contribute to the stabilization of political circumstances in BiH, nor to progress on its European path.
During today's meeting in East Sarajevo, Cvijanović informed Corrêa about the complex political situation and the current crisis in BiH, caused by illegal foreign interventionism and the political instrumentalization of the judiciary. She emphasized that such unconstitutional and anti-Dayton actions by Christian Schmidt and the BiH judiciary are not in line with European values, but that EU officials not only support this, but also criticize Republika Srpska for opposing it, the BiH Presidency said in a statement. The meeting also discussed current processes in the EU, the prospects for its enlargement, as well as the situation in Republika Srpska and BiH.
