VUJIČIĆ: THE FBiH’S POLITICAL SCENE HAS BECOME “INSTAGRAM” POLITICS

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 22 /SRNA/ – Miroslav Vujičić, SNSD deputy in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, believes that the political scene in the Federation of BiH has long taken on a form of “Instagram” politics and unseriousness, whose certain politicians lack the capacity to deal with politics in a serious manner.

Commenting on FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and Interior Minister Ramo Isak, who were taking photos in the FBiH Parliament while attempts were being made to discuss the prime minister’s alleged illegal activities and his interference in police work, Vujičić said that what matters to them is taking pictures for social media and presenting themselves as great workers and fighters against crime. Vujičić emphasized that Isak is not doing the job he should be doing and is not investigating the scandal in the FBiH that is linked to the federal prime minister. It is completely clear, Vujičić said, that the majority in the federal Parliament, gathered around the SDP and the “Troika,” will never open the issue of the scandal involving Nikšić, which Interior Minister Isak is wholeheartedly helping him with, focusing more on Republika Srpska than on his own responsibilities. “I fear that certain politicians, or people who want to engage in politics but lack the capacity, have turned politics into show business, reality and Instagram,” Vujičić concluded. The emergency session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament was not held yesterday over lacking votes for adopting the proposed agenda, which sought to examine the validity of suspicions regarding Prime Minister Nikšić’s alleged illegal activities and his interference in the work of entity police bodies. The emergency session was requested by the opposition, specifically the caucuses of SDA, DF, and SBiH, after SMS messages found on the phone of the acting director of the Federal Police Administration, Vahidin Munjić, surfaced in public, indicating Nikšić and his acissoates’ interference in investigations and personnel appointments within police and public institutions. While the “debate” on the scandal was taking place, Isak took a photo with Nikšić, which he later uploaded on Instagram.
