DODIK: THE CEC HAS DELEGITIMIZED ITSELF; ITS EXISTENCE HAS LOST ITS PURPOSE

BANJA LUKA, December 15 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH has delegitimized itself as a body capable of participating in the electoral process, and that its existence has lost its purpose.

"Everyone knows that the current composition of the CEC was appointed along party lines, contrary to the law. Everyone knows they are not independent, but now they have become a cheering squad for the SDS, which, in addition to bias, has also demonstrated extreme incompetence," Dodik stated. He assessed that the nexus between the CEC and the SDS, the PDP, and the Bosniaks is becoming distasteful and is turning this body into a fountain for fulfilling the wishes of perpetual losers. "The farce they created together with Christian Schmidt is being made even greater by acting on requests that are delivered to them daily by SDS cadres," Dodik said. Instead of dealing with elections, Dodik added, they are dealing with curing frustrations. "That is why we can no longer speak of the CEC, but rather of a Center for the Treatment of Complexes or a Center of True Corruption," Dodik wrote on X.
