DODIK: VETERANS’ ORGANIZATION UNDERSTANDS ESSENCE OF RELATIONS AND BACKGROUND OF PRESSURES ON SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 22 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that he highly values the patriotic stance of the Republika Srpska Veterans’ Organization /RSVO/ and their understanding of the essence of relations and the background of pressures exerted on Republika Srpska.

He stated that veterans are aware that the core of disagreements in BiH stems from diametrically opposed views on the nature of events at the beginning of the 1990s, that they know the conflict in BiH was, for Republika Srpska and the Serb people, a Defensive-Patriotic War, while for Sarajevo it was an act of aggression. According to Dodik, veterans understand that as long as decisions concerning Republika Srpska are made by the people and those elected by the people, they are liberators, heroes, founders of Republika Srpska, and individuals worthy of admiration and respect. "If Sarajevo and those who serve Sarajevo were to decide, they would be labeled aggressors. I know that veterans and their descendants will never accept that. I know that those who once defended the Serb people and Republika Srpska will do so again," Dodik wrote on X social network.
