BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – The "With Love, Brave Hearts" campaign once again reminds us of what matters most, that the strength of a society lies in its humanity, solidarity and readiness to give a helping hand to those who need it most, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said.

"When we unite around children and families facing difficult life challenges, we show that we are not just a community by name, but a nation with a big heart," Dodik told SRNA ahead of tonight’s 16th donor evening “With Love, Brave Hearts,” aimed at raising funds for the establishment and equipping of a center for specialized social services for children and youth with developmental disabilities in Banja Luka, Derventa and Foča. Dodik emphasized that this campaign proves that love, care and responsibility toward the most vulnerable know no political, institutional or any other divisions, but rather confirms that humanity is not a single act, but a lasting obligation – to stand by those who are struggling, to give them hope and faith that they are not alone. The name of the campaign, “With Love, Brave Hearts,” the SNSD leader said, is not merely a title but a message that together we can achieve much, that every child deserves a chance and every family deserves support. "These are the values on which we should build the future – humane, responsible and dignified, and that the humanity the foundation of our society, because when we help those who are facing the greatest difficulties, we prove that we are a community that knows how to love, care and stand together," Dodik stressed. He pointed out that humanity is not a matter of a moment, but a permanent obligation to remain humane, to show compassion and to confirm solidarity through actions, calling on all people of goodwill to take part in this humanitarian campaign, noting that he personally contributed BAM 5,000. "`With Love, Brave Hearts` proves that as a society we know how to stand by one another, that we have the strength and the will to build a future based on care, empathy and responsibility. This is a path we must preserve and strengthen, because a society is measured not by words, but by deeds and by how it treats those who need help the most," Dodik said, recalling that as President of Republika Srpska in 2010 he initiated the first donor evening “With Love, Brave Hearts” for children suffering from malignant diseases. This year’s donor evening will be held tonight at the headquarters of the Government of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka, starting at 7:30 p.m.
