REPUBLIKA SRPSKA HAS ALWAYS BEEN PROTECTED BY THE LOVE OF ITS PEOPLE

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 8 /SRNA/ – The Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, has said today in Banja Luka that Republika Srpska has always been protected by the love of its people, as well as by the strength of its institutions, and that a brighter future for Srpska lies ahead.

When citizens and institutions are working toward the same goal, Cvijanović added, Republika Srpska is stable. "Historical facts must be respected. With full justification and good reason, we begin the celebration of the Republika Srpska Day by laying wreaths for the fallen soldiers of the Defensive–Patriotic War, because during the difficult wartime period they defended what was created in freedom, namely Republika Srpska," Cvijanović told the press while wreaths were being laid at the memorial to fallen soldiers of the Republika Srpska Army at the Saint Pantaleon cemetery. She has stated that changes favourable to Republika Srpska are taking place on the international scene, namely respect for sovereignty, and that it is necessary to break with globalist intentions and everything that has stripped Srpska of its competencies. "I believe this represents a brighter future for all of us in Republika Srpska," Cvijanović emphasized. She congratulated the citizens of Republika Srpska on the Republika Srpska Day – January 9 – and expressed her wish that everyone keeps living in a stable and peaceful Srpska that will continue to develop.
