KOJIĆ: COURT AND PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE SILENT ON RADICAL ISLAMISTS GATHERING
SARAJEVO, JANUARY 11 /SRNA/ – Radical Islamists are once again gathering this year in Bužim, wearing military uniforms and chanting war slogans while displaying flags, while the judicial institutions of BiH are silently observing this, Branimir Kojić, the head of the Organisation of Families of Captured, Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians of Srebrenica, told SRNA.
He stated that all events within the so-called "March to Ćorkovača" are being recorded, with the footage being published on social media, including on the profile "Association of Nanić's Bužim Residents," yet the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH are not reacting. Kojić recalled that the Court of BiH rejected a criminal complaint filed by the Organisation of Families of Captured, Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians of Srebrenica against Hamdija Abdić Tigar and Muhamed Švrakić, explaining that nothing had been found that could constitute the basis for an indictment. "This clearly confirms everything we have been saying for years - that this court, as it is, was formed exclusively to try and convict Serbs only," Kojić emphasized. He says that such events in Bužim have been repeating for years, while members of the Serb people are subjected to pressure and questioning by the State Investigation and Protection Agency /SIPA/ of BiH; in practice nothing is being done against those who incite war. "In this country, those who incite war become heroes, while every Serb who stands by his people is labeled a chauvinist, because being a Serb patriot in such a BiH is, obviously, punishable," Kojić stressed. He called for an urgent reaction from the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, pointing out that all evidence is publicly available and that, if there were political will, it should also be accessible to judicial institutions. Kojić warns that if there is no reaction, as in previous cases, he expects the institutions of Republika Srpska to find a mechanism and suspend all cooperation with the Court of BiH until, as he says, everyone before it is treated in the same way. The gathering was held to mark 33 years since the military operation "Lightning" of the so-called Army of BiH. In previous years as well, members of Bosniak associations have gathered in Bužim under the flag of the so-called Army of BiH, chanting "Allahu Akbar" and hurling insults at Serbs and Republika Srpska.
