GOGANOVIĆ: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA WAS CREATED TO LAST FOREVER

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 12 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska was created to endure forever, owing its existence to the finest sons of the Serb people who embedded their lives into its foundations, Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović said today.

"Unfortunately, in recent times we have witnessed numerous attacks on Republika Srpska, and even on the Serbian Orthodox Church, but united from Banja Luka we are sending, in the spirit of Orthodoxy, a message of peace and love. We also clearly state that Republika Srpska was not created to disappear," Goganović told reporters at the Kozara Barracks in Banja Luka, where the Christmas reception was held. He stressed that Serbs within the defense system are determined to safeguard peace, stability, and security, while in accordance with the Law on Defense they also nurture Serbian tradition and Orthodox customs. Goganović thanked the leadership of Republika Srpska for responding to the invitation to attend the Christmas reception, noting that this demonstrates that Serbs in the defense system are not alone and that they have the institutions of Republika Srpska behind them.
