BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 17 /SRNA/ – The incoming Prime Minister-designate Savo Minić has announced today the proposed composition of the new Government, in which the position of Minister of Labour , War Veterans and Disabled Persons Protection is expected to be assumed by the Head of the Republika Srpska War Veterans Organisation, Radan Ostojić.

In addition to the war veterans and disabled persons protection sector, Minić proposed new ministers for the departments of science and higher education, family, youth and sports, economy and entrepreneurship, as well as the Ministry of Trade and Tourism. Former Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy in Istočno Sarajevo, Draga Mastilović, has been proposed as Minister of Scientific - Technological Development and Higher Education; Radenko Bubić as Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship; Irena Ignjatović as Minister of Family, Youth and Sports; and Ned Puhovac as Minister of Trade and Tourism. Prime Minister Minić resumed his office on January 15, while Republika Srpska Acting President, Ana Trišić Babić, informed him that he would again be proposed as prime minister-designate. Trišić - Babić previously emphasized that this decision aims to prevent the creation of another artificial crisis orchestrated by a foreign administration, and to ensure that processes in Republika Srpska are decided by Republika Srpska and its institutions, not by anyone outside. A special session of the National Assembly will be held in Banja Luka tomorrow to review the acceptance of Prime Minister Savo Minić's resignation. Following the conclusion of this special session, the Advisory Board of the National Assembly will convene to schedule a new session on the new Government election. This will be the 19th convocation of the Republika Srpska Government.
