BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 19 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić and ministers of the Orthodox faith in the newly elected Government of Republika Srpska today took an oath at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Banja Luka.

Prime Minister Savo Minić stated that the newly elected ministers who wished to do so also took a church oath today. "This used to be a tradition, and from a spiritual perspective it is also beneficial," Minić told reporters. He thanked all members of the National Assembly who supported the election of the new Government in the Republika Srpska parliament last night. "This is a good political move, an exceptionally good political maneuver. I believe we did everything right and made the correct decision," Minić said, adding that there is political maturity within the SNSD as well as among its coalition partners. The National Assembly of Republika Srpska elected a new Government last night, which includes five new ministers compared to the previous cabinet. Minić expressed satisfaction last night with the election of the new Government, emphasizing that the stability of institutions has been preserved. This is the 19th Government of Republika Srpska.
