IRENA IGNJATOVIĆ TAKES OVER DUTIES FROM SELMA ČABRIĆ

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 23 /SRNA/ - Newly appointed Minister of Family, Youth and Sports of Republika Srpska Irena Ignjatović officially took over her duties today, stating that all key projects of the Ministry will be continued, while she and her associates will work to further improve areas where there is room for progress.

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 23 /SRNA/ - Newly appointed Minister of Family, Youth and Sports of Republika Srpska Irena Ignjatović officially took over her duties today, stating that all key projects of the Ministry will be continued, while she and her associates will work to further improve areas where there is room for progress.



Ignjatović thanked former minister Selma Čabrić for everything that has been done so far and emphasized that she will continue supporting large families, improving the legal framework related to domestic violence, as well as providing direct support to young people through interest rate subsidies and to sports organizations for organizing competitions and implementing program activities. Čabrić congratulated Ignjatović on her appointment as minister and stated that she is handing over her duties satisfied with what has been achieved in the previous period, the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of the Republika Srpska announced. She recalled that amendments were made to the Law on Support for Unemployed Parents with Four or More Children in Republika Srpska, strategic documents in the areas of domestic violence and volunteering were improved, and a significant step forward was made in the school sports system with the establishment of the School Sports Association of Republika Srpska.
