ZEČEVIĆ: SRPSKA SHOULD CONTINUE STRENGTHENING ITS POSITION ON THE WORLD STAGE
BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 23 /SRNA/ - Brod Mayor Milan Zečević told SRNA that political relations at the level of BiH are reflected in local communities, stating that policy needs to be redefined and that Republika Srpska should continue its struggle and positioning on the international stage.
“An agreement is possible in terms of respecting the Dayton Agreement. BiH has constitutionally defined powers, but in practice, these have previously been altered through the legal violence of high representatives. As long as this remains the case, there will be no progress,” Zečević said in SRNA’s podcast. He emphasized that the establishment of a free zone in Brod, which was confirmed today by Staša Košarac, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers, will significantly improve the business environment, open the door to new investments and capital inflows, and create more jobs. “In this, we were assisted by Gradiška Mayor Zoran Adžić, who shared his expertise with us. We prepared a feasibility study, and last year the Government of Republika Srpska adopted a decision on establishing the free zone,” Zečević said. In SRNA’s podcast, Zečević also spoke about plans for this year, cooperation with the Government of Republika Srpska, and relations with the local community as the highest priority. The new episode of the podcast, featuring Brod Mayor Milan Zečević, will be available to users of SRNA’s service, on the YouTube channel, and on social media tomorrow from 10:00.
