BAJINA BAŠTA, JANUARY 24 /SRNA/ – Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, states that there is no municipality in Republika Srpska where Serbia has not contributed something, emphasizing that it is very important for Republika Srpska to know that it has a strong Serbia beside it.

"Republika Srpska feels stronger when it knows it has a bigger and stronger brother beside it," Minić said at a press conference following a meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Đuro Macuta, in Bajina Bašta. He emphasized that they discussed projects related to completing the most important infrastructure project - the Banja Luka–Belgrade mnotorway, which was conceived by presidents Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić. "We know well how historically important this is for our people. It will mean a lot for the economy as well," Minić said. He noted that they also discussed the rehabilitation of the narrow-gauge railway Višegrad–Vardište–Mokra Gora. "We are one people, and we want, by implementing this project, to make it possible to travel from Serbia to Republika Srpska via this railway, and for Višegrad and the part of Serbia connected to tourism capacities to gain a new dimension," Minić said. He has emphasized that there is great interest in these narrow-gauge railways.
