BAJINA BAŠTA, JANUARY 24 /SRNA/ – Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut states that cooperation between the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska will be intensified, made more concrete, and more operational in the upcoming period.

After the meeting with the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, on Tara, Macut emphasized that both governments are capable of implementing any joint project in any area. He says it will be his pleasure to cooperate with Minić and that the Prime Minister of Srpska and members of his office will henceforth be invited to attend sessions of the Government of Serbia. Macut assessed that cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska is comprehensive, and that Andrić’s Day should become a traditional gathering of the Serb people around and on the Drina River. He pointed out that healthcare cooperation has been defined without barriers and that Serbia and Srpska will reach agreements in other fields as well. "In that regard, I would like to announce the opening of major infrastructure projects such as the completion of the Rača - Bijeljina motorway, reactivating the Trebinje airport project, and accelerating the works on a very important traffic hub that would be of exceptional importance for this part of Republika Srpska," Macut said.
