STRONGER PACE AHEAD FOR NEW GOVERNMENT

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 26 /SRNA/ – Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić announced a stronger pace for the new Government, which held its constitutive session today, as well as visits to local communities across Republika Srpska.

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 26 /SRNA/ – Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić announced a stronger pace for the new Government, which held its constitutive session today, as well as visits to local communities across Republika Srpska.

Minić said he is still awaiting the written ruling of the Constitutional Court of BiH, stressing that the Court has no authority to decide on the constitutionality of the Government. "Everything else is speculation," Minić said at a press conference. He noted that he has been informed that today the parliamentary caucuses of the SDA and DF once again addressed the Constitutional Court with a request to assess the constitutionality of the new Government. "The group did not wait for the written ruling, but submitted a request anyway, which only shows the extent of their desire to apply pressure," Minić emphasized. He added that such pressure on Republika Srpska is obvious to anyone who is not blind, but that it gives him additional energy. "This Government, in its current composition, has already begun its work and will move at a stronger pace than the previous one. It will go among the people, work transparently, and visit all local communities regardless of political affiliation," Minić said. He added that the new Government includes two ministers who are non-party figures. "You can speculate as much as you like. As long as I am prime minister, I will not allow a witch-hunt against my ministers," Minić stressed. He announced that a regular Government session is scheduled for Thursday.
