ISRAEL RECOGNIZES ARROGANCE AND HOSTILITY OF POLITICAL SARAJEVO

JERUSALEM, JANUARY 27 /SRNA/ – Political Sarajevo does not support either Israel or the Jewish people, who are increasingly becoming aware that this is the case, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik has stated today in Jerusalem.

"Whenever they can, they try to belittle and humiliate Israel and display their arrogance, from the rabbis’ conference, the confiscation of passports, the issue surrounding the Haggadah, to the case when the Israeli Embassy wanted to screen a documentary film about October 7, which they of course did not allow," Dodik said. He pointed out that there is disbelief in Israel that such a distorted approach exists, but that there is growing awareness that this is indeed happening. Dodik assessed that Israel and its people possess great will and faith to preserve their state, proving that they are capable of governing this territory, doing so through the strength of identity and determination in difficult circumstances. According to him, their determination to build their state and nation is so strong that there is no room for concessions, demonstrating as a people that they can create a state under seemingly impossible conditions. On the other hand, Dodik added, Muslims lack the strength to create a state, as they have always been subjects. "Whoever came along, they submitted. Their ancestors who now live in BiH look like us, have similar surnames as us. And now those same people want to tell us that our ancestors were wrong to fight for their faith," Dodik told reporters. Dodik stressed that BiH can never truly function as a state, adding that even if Muslims were to prevail with the concept of a unitary BiH, they would not know how to govern it, and someone else would have to do so. "The concept that faith is irrelevant collapses, because why then did they leave Yugoslavia, if that were the case," Dodik emphasized, assessing that they live in a lie. He also said that they have been given a court and that they are trying, through that court, to eliminate everything they do not like in Republika Srpska. Speaking about his stay in Israel, Dodik reminded that the day began with a visit to the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, which, as he said, is always a special event. During the meeting, they discussed relations between Republika Srpska and the Patriarchate in Jerusalem, as well as the development of global relations. Dodik said it was interesting to listen to the Patriarch and his understanding and assessments of global processes, noting that he strongly advocated strengthening both personal and collective identity. "That is something deeply rooted in tradition and culture. I experience this honor as an expression of deep respect for the Serb people and Republika Srpska," Dodik said. He added that they also discussed programs important to them that require government support, which Republika Srpska has provided in the past as well.
