KOŠARAC: FORTO AND THE REST OF 'TROIKA' MISLEAD PUBLIC WITH ROSY EU NARRATIVES

SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 4 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, said that Minister of Communications and Transport Edin Forto and the rest of the “troika” are misleading the public and promoting rosy EU narratives.

Košarac emphasized that Forto initially claimed that the EU’s new visa strategy for domestic carriers “is not only a victory for today but also for the future,” only for a cold shower to follow from Brussels. “Forto was told, ‘There is no good news, nor any concrete solutions.’ Transport companies are still waiting. Yet that does not stop Forto and the rest of the ‘troika’ from misleading the public and promoting rosy EU narratives,” Košarac wrote on Instagram. Košarac added that a similar situation occurred with the Growth Plan. “Forto tried to convince us that ‘as soon as we adopt the document, the EU funds will arrive.’ The document was adopted, but no EU money is in sight,” Košarac said.
