DODIK: SARAJEVO’S FAILED ATTEMPTS TO TOPPLE REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 7 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik stated that Sarajevo’s underhanded plot to destabilize Republika Srpska has failed.

"Hamas lost in Gaza, and so did they! Through sanctions, they tried to destroy our economic system; they underestimated us, belittled us, all of this is an attack on us, our Christian faith, and our traditions," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka upon his return from Washington. According to him, the result of these actions has been the confiscation of Serb property, land belonging to the Serbian Orthodox Church, and cemeteries. "They want to do harm to Serbs, Orthodox Christians, as well as Croats, Catholics, every single day. That is why we cannot expect to negotiate anything with them or carry out policies together. But I am always ready to engage in dialogue," Dodik stressed. He reiterated that Republika Srpska’s politics is not and will not be one of revenge; Republika Srpska only seeks to secure its own rights and possessions, and no one should challenge that.
