KOVAČEVIĆ: NO ONE IS TALKING TO TROIKA’S “BULLDOZER OPERATORS”
SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 12 /SRNA/ – Serb deputy to the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Radovan Kovačević, says that neither SNSD nor its coalition partners have anything against reaching an agreement with people from across BiH, and that a platform for dialogue has been offered, adding that they will keep taking care of Republika Srpska and its interests.
“We have nothing against sitting down and reaching an agreement with people from all over BiH. We have stated what our platform for dialogue is. If no one wants to talk, then it is perfectly clear that we will have to seek solutions on our own and independently,” Kovačević said. Speaking about the work of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Kovačević recalled that during the current term, until the start of the ‘bulldozer offensive’ by the Troika parties, there had been positive effects on BiH’s European path, stressing that he approached that issue sincerely in Brussels. At the time of the “bulldozer offensive,” he says, Republika Srpska politicians were under sanctions and could not even dream of obtaining U.S. visas or holding talks there with anyone. “When we now look at the result of the ‘bulldozer offensive,’ but again largely thanks to our work, vision, dedication, and determination, we are nowadays in Israel, Washington, and at every other address where we speak with the top state officials, while those from the Troika cannot even dream about that,” Kovačević said. He emphasized that at those addresses serious discussions are being held about the vision for Republika Srpska and all the problems it faces, as well as about those who attempt to oppress it and act as if they are superior. “People today understand us very well, and there is willingness to help us,” Kovačević stressed. He recalled that those who launched the “bulldozer offensive” had claimed that Milorad Dodik and the entire Republika Srpska staff were some kind of “Russian submarine.” “I have not noticed that a ‘Russian submarine’ meets with the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives or with the secretary of fefence, or secretary of war - whatever that position is called today in the U.S. and I’m not quite sure that people would hold talks with ‘Russian submarines.’ But I do see that no one is talking to the ‘bulldozer operators’ from Sarajevo, even though that is their official job,” Kovačević told Newsmax Balkan.
