KOŠARAC: KOMŠIĆ’S THIMBLERIGGER’S PLOY IN WASHINGTON DESPERATE MOVE

SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 13 /SRNA/ – Council of Ministers Deputy Chair Staša Košarac told SRNA that the complaints made in Washington by the Croat BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić against SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik represent a thimble-rigger's ploy and a desperate move.

"Komšić goes to Washington and, out of all possible topics to discuss with U.S. officials, chooses to complain about Milorad Dodik and Republika Srpska. What a desperate man," Košarac stated. He pointed out that Komšić's claim that Dodik is "undermining the Dayton and peace in BiH" is a typical Sarajevo "thimble-rigger's ploy" and a lie, as everyone knows that the SNSD leader advocates the original Dayton Peace Agreement and consistently calls for the consistent implementation of this document. "Nothing new from official Sarajevo - the continuity and method of action are lies, manipulation, and populism. They convince themselves of their own lies," Košarac said. He emphasized that Milorad Dodik supports the original Dayton Peace Agreement, i.e. its letter, not the so-called "spirit of the Dayton," as Sarajevo interprets it to suit its own interests. According to him, Dodik calls for strengthening sovereignty, reaching internal agreements, and making decisions within local institutions without foreign interference, for the abolition of the OHR, and for the departure of foreign judges from the Constitutional Court of BiH. "Sarajevo does exactly the opposite, hoping that someone else will provide solutions for them," Košarac said.
