KARAN: GRATITUDE TO SERB PEOPLE AND ALL CITIZENS OF SRPSKA WHO TURNED OUT FOR ELECTIONS

BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 13 /SRNA/ – The newly elected President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan expressed gratitude to the Serb people and all citizens of Republika Srpska who participated in the elections and gave him their trust to perform the duty of President of Republika Srpska.

"Thank you also to those who voted differently. Every citizen who exercised their right to vote confirms that the will of the people is the only source of authority and that the destiny of Republika Srpska is sovereignly decided exclusively by its people," Karan posted on X. He stated that the will of the people, the Constitution of Republika Srpska, and the right of the Serbian people to decide their own future will remain his only guiding principle and obligation. The Central Election Commission of BiH confirmed today that Siniša Karan has been elected President of Republika Srpska. The Commission adopted a decision during an urgent correspondence session to confirm and publish the results of the early elections for President of Republika Srpska, according to which the election of Karan, candidate of SNSD, was confirmed.
