CVIJANOVIĆ PRAISES RUBIO ADDRESS AS INSPIRING AND EYE-OPENING
MUNICH, FEBRUARY 14 /SRNA/ – The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović has stressed that the speech delivered by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the Munich Security Conference was inspiring and sobering.
"US Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a speech in Munich that could best be described as inspiring, thorough, clear and sobering," Cvijanović posted on the social media platform X. In his address at the Munich conference, Rubio said that the idea of a borderless world and replacing national interests with a global order has come at a high cost to the world. He pointed out that mass migration threatens the cohesion and future of Western countries and destabilizes their societies. He stressed that the United Nations has enormous potential, but lacks responses to the most urgent issues and effectively plays no meaningful role. Cvijanović is participating in the Munich Security Conference, a leading global forum for international security policy. Numerous high-level debates on international security are scheduled to take place during the conference.
