JAHORINA, MARCH 6 /SRNA/ – The Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska Ned Puhovac expressed hope that the Jahorina Olympic Centre, in cooperation with the line ministry and the Republika Srpska Government, will continue with its successful work and move even more strongly along the path of progress.

"Jahorina, as a sports centre, is recognised in this part of Europe - in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro, but we must do even more to expand that recognition toward the markets of Italy and other countries," Puhovac told the press on Jahorina. He stressed that the Jahorina Olympic Centre is capable not only of that, but also of organising major international ski competitions and sporting events. Puhovac thanked everyone who today and in the previous period fully supported the development of this exceptional sports - tourist destination. During his visit to Jahorina today, he met with the management of the Jahorina Olympic Centre, where the results of the 2025/26 winter tourist season were presented. The director of the Olympic Centre, Igor Žiljak, said that it is the 95th day of skiing on Jahorina and that business results are phenomenal. "The most important fact is that all our guests leave Jahorina with smiles on their faces, which gives us hope that they will always return. That was our goal," Žiljak said. He also announced new activities by the Olympic Centre, noting that all women will have free skiing on International Women's Day, while all visitors can expect new discounts of 40 to 50 percent. "I hope that this year we will reach the planned 120 days of skiing, and we are working on it," Žiljak concluded.
