MINIĆ'S RESIGNATION ACCEPTED, ELECTION OF NEW GOVERNMENT TO FOLLOW
BANJA LUKA, MARCH 16 /SRNA/ - Members of the Republika Srpska National Assembly accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Save Minić at a special session held today.
Minić’s resignation also entails the resignation of the Government of Republika Srpska. Minić's resignation received support from 49 MPs, with no debate held during the session. Opposition MPs did not attend the special session. The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, said that a new government will be elected soon. He stated that he will be the prime minister-designate for the formation of the new government, after holding consultations with the President of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan.
