IT'S UNACCEPTABLE THAT MONUMENTS GLORIFYING NDH EXIST IN REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 23 /SRNA/ - It is unacceptable that monuments promoting and glorifying the ideology of the NDH /Independent State of Croatia/ exist on the territory of Republika Srpska, said Prime Minister Savo Minić.

Minić emphasized that it is very important that the National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted a Resolution prohibiting the glorification and promotion of the ideology of the NDH, adding that he is pleased that MPs were unanimous on that issue. He told Večernje novosti that he is pleased that a clear message has been sent that there is no place in Republika Srpska for such ideologies, which in history led to the most monstrous crimes. He also noted that the Assembly has tasked the Government with drafting two laws, one of which concerns monuments and would regulate the removal of monuments and symbols that promote and glorify the ideology of the NDH, as well as Ustasha, Nazi, and fascist ideologies, which offend the religious, moral, and national sentiments of the Serb people.
