TEŠIĆ: PELAGIĆEVO ADDITIONALLY SUBSIDIZES REGULATED FUEL BY 20 PFENNIGS
BANJA LUKA, APRIL 17 /SRNA/ – Pelagićevo Municipality Mayor Slavko Tešić told SRNA that this local community has introduced new support measures for farmers, including additional fuel subsidies, with the aim of strengthening agricultural production as a key economic sector.
Tešić says that Pelagićevo has also introduced BAM 500 financial assistance per registered farm. "We are also the first municipality to decide to subsidize the price of regulated fuel by an additional 20 pfennigs per liter, so farmers from the Municipality of Pelagićevo will receive a total subsidy of one BAM per liter of fuel," Tešić said in SRNA podcast. Tešić noted that the local administration is implementing a series of measures aimed at retaining the population and improving living conditions, adding that initial results are already visible in the return of some families. Speaking about the municipality's development, Tešić says that a number of infrastructure projects have been implemented in the past period and that Pelagićevo is in increasing trend. "In the past six to seven years, the municipality has been on an upward path, which is visible. We have renovated the school and built a new municipal building," Tešić said. Tešić highlighted that one of the priority projects is the construction of a kindergarten with the capacity for 50 children, which will be completed soon. He also announced activities related to the development of a business zone near the motorway, aimed at attracting investors, as well as the construction of cultural facilities, including a project dedicated to Vasa Pelagić. The new episode of the SRNA podcast, featuring the Mayor of Pelagićevo Slavko Tešić, will be available tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. to service subscribers, as well as on social media and the YouTube channel.
