KOŠARAC TO BEGIN OFFICIAL VISIT TO AZERBAIJAN TOMORROW

SARAJEVO, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac will be on an official visit to Azerbaijan from tomorrow until May 21.

SARAJEVO, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac will be on an official visit to Azerbaijan from tomorrow until May 21.



Košarac will participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum /WUF13/ in Baku, organized by the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme /UN-Habitat/. The World Urban Forum is the leading global conference dedicated to sustainable urbanization, established by the United Nations in 2001 with the aim of addressing one of the most important challenges facing the world today: rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change, and public policy. The first World Urban Forum was held in 2002 in Nairobi, Kenya, and since then it has been organized around the world. The 13th session of the World Urban Forum is expected to gather thousands of participants, including political officials, academics, business leaders, experts, and representatives of civil society.
