SAVIĆ HOSTS YOUNG GENIUSES FROM TECHNICAL SCHOOL

BIJELJINA, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - Director of "Elektro-Bijeljina" Bojan Savić today hosted young innovators Petar Vićanović, Uroš Bosiljčić, and Andrej Lukić, students of the "Mihajlo Pupin" Technical School in Bijeljina.

BIJELJINA, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - Director of "Elektro-Bijeljina" Bojan Savić today hosted young innovators Petar Vićanović, Uroš Bosiljčić, and Andrej Lukić, students of the "Mihajlo Pupin" Technical School in Bijeljina.

"These three young men and their project 'GesTalk,' with which they achieved exceptional success at 'Inost mladih 2026,' where they won a gold plaque in the field of automation, completely impressed me," Savić said. Under the mentorship of professor Tanja Džuvić, Petar, Uroš, and Andrej designed a "smart glove" that converts sign language movements into speech. Savić said they had once again proven that knowledge, ideas, and hard work push boundaries, while also demonstrating how technology can make everyday life easier. He emphasized the obligation to support young people who possess knowledge, energy, and the courage to create something new, adding that he sees in them the greatest strength and future of society. "We talked about their plans, ideas, and future, and I told them what I truly believe - wherever life takes them, they should never forget their hometown, Bijeljina, and Republika Srpska," Savić said. He added that he is proud of these young talents, their teachers, and their school. "When you see what young people from our community are creating, it becomes clear that knowledge and hard work always find their way," Savić concluded.
