STOP CROATIA IN REVISION OF HISTORICAL TRUTH ABOUT BLEIBURG
BANJA LUKA, MAY 18 /SRNA/ - Croatia's authorities again are once again rewriting the historical truth about the events in Bleiburg at the end of National Liberation War in 1945, which is why it is time for the international community to stop Croatia from these intentions, the SUBNOR of Republika Srpska told SRNA.
"In this way, the officials of the Croatian government distort the historical facts, trying to diminish the contribution of National Liberation War in the victory over fascism in 1945," SUBNOR pointed out. SUBNOR concludes that it is unacceptable that the remains of 500 members of the defeated Ustashas, who were members of the fascist Independent State of Croatia /NDH/, and which were recently taken over from Slovenia, are declared as innocent victims by the official representatives of Croatia. Last week, at the Macelj border crossing, Croatia took over the remains of 500 Ustasha soldiers from Slovenia, who were killed after the World War II, as part of the first international handover protocol.
