BOSNIAK MINISTERS OBSTRUCTED ATTEMPT TO OPEN NEW BRIDGE IN GRADIŠKA

SARAJEVO, MAY 19 /SRNA/ - Today, the Council of Ministers did not adopt the proposed conclusion of the chairwoman Borjana Krišto that due to extraordinary circumstances, due to the collapse of the bridge at the Gradiška border crossing, tasks are given to the Ministry of Security, the Indirect Taxation Administration of BiH and the Border Police of BiH to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the temporary border crossing Gradiška Novi Most - Gornji Varoš.

SARAJEVO, MAY 19 /SRNA/ - Today, the Council of Ministers did not adopt the proposed conclusion of the chairwoman Borjana Krišto that due to extraordinary circumstances, due to the collapse of the bridge at the Gradiška border crossing, tasks are given to the Ministry of Security, the Indirect Taxation Administration of BiH and the Border Police of BiH to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the temporary border crossing Gradiška Novi Most - Gornji Varoš.



Information from the Ministry of Security about the collapse of part of the bridge structure on the border between Gradiška and Stara Gradiška and the suspension of traffic, as well as information from the Ministry of Transport and Communications about the collapse of part of the footpath on the bridge over the Sava River and the closure of the bridge to traffic, were not accepted either. In two rounds of voting with six votes for and two against - Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković and Minister for Human Rights and Refugees Sevlid Hurtić; Minister of Defense Zukan Helez and Minister of Transport and Communications Edin Forto did not use the opportunity to vote, the Council of Ministers announced. An extraordinary telephone session was held on the occasion of the collapse of the protective fence and part of the bridge at the Gradiška Border Crossing, which completely stopped traffic for passenger and cargo vehicles and pedestrians.
