PAVIĆ: TIME TO END COLONIAL ADMINISTRATION IN BiH

BELGRADE, MAY 28 /SRNA/ – Political analyst Aleksandar Pavić told SRNA that the time has come to finally put an end to colonial administration in BiH, stressing that the Republika Srpska National Assembly's Declaration very clearly expressed a political position on the OHR's fate.

Pavić assessed that the Republika Srpska National Assembly's Declaration on closing the Office of the High Representative is a historic document as the parliament expressed the political will that no further foreign impositions will be allowed. He noted that the Declaration is merely a logical continuation of ongoing developments. "I am referring to the resignation of Christian Schmidt and the new winds blowing, particularly from Washington, as well as the fact that the time has come to finally end colonial administration in BiH," Pavić said. In his opinion, the Declaration defines very well what the high representatives were, what they represented, and why the OHR should have been closed long ago. "Republika Srpska has very clearly stated its position that there must no longer be colonial administration in BiH, so this is a political stance regardless of what will happen with the OHR," Pavić said.
