SUMMIT ON ECONOMY AND SECURITY OPENS

BANJA LUKA, MAY 28 /SRNA/ – Organised by the Gold Institute for International Strategy, the first European Summit on Economy and Security was ceremonially opened today in Banja Luka, gathering more than 100 participants from over 20 countries.

BANJA LUKA, MAY 28 /SRNA/ – Organised by the Gold Institute for International Strategy, the first European Summit on Economy and Security was ceremonially opened today in Banja Luka, gathering more than 100 participants from over 20 countries.



The summit is being held at the Terme Hotel building in Banja Luka. At the opening ceremony, those gathered were addressed by Ana Trišić-Babić, Acting Director of the Republika Srpska International Cooperation Office, and Eli Gold, President of the Gold Institute for International Cooperation. The summit is attended by prominent representatives of institutions from Republika Srpska and other countries, as well as figures from the fields of business, security, diplomacy, and politics. Also attending the event is Michael Flynn, Chairman of the Gold Institute, a U.S. general and former national security adviser to Donald Trump, along with officials from Serbia. Among the aims of the event is the promotion of Republika Srpska as a venue for international dialogue. The summit will feature numerous presentations, panels, and focused discussions on topics such as the development of the European and transatlantic security architecture and its implications for the Balkans. Discussions will also cover economic resilience, regional integration, and investment opportunities in Balkan economies, as well as the role of democratic institutions, governance, and the rule of law in supporting security and economic growth.
