DODIK WITH SHOIGU: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA RESISTING COLONIAL YOKE AND FIGHTING TO PRESERVE FREEDOM
MOSKVA, MAY 28 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik stated that during the meeting with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu he said that BiH is a colony run by foreigners and that the authorities of Republika Srpska are fighting to free themselves from what he described as a colonial yoke and preserve freedom.
Dodik said he conveyed that BiH is today a failed country that can no longer find justification for its existence. "Today it is a colony governed by foreigners, while we in Republika Srpska are fighting to preserve freedom and want to free ourselves from the colonial yoke imposed through illegitimate high representatives and foreign judges of the BiH Constitutional Court", Dodik told journalists from Republika Srpska after the meeting with Shoigu. He added that he pointed out that the judges traditionally come from environments hostile toward Serbs, namely Germany and Albania, while one is a German from Switzerland. "These are the judges who have the decisive voice in the BiH Constitutional Court, changing the constitutional order and doing everything possible to make life difficult for Republika Srpska", Dodik said. He stated that Republika Srpska understands global developments, but noted that representatives of Islamic countries had been present in BiH within the "El Mujahideen" unit, which he described as a terrorist structure that committed crimes against Serbs, adding that remnants of such activities have not disappeared even today. Dodik stressed that in Russia there is concern over efforts by certain Balkan countries, such as Croatia, Albania and so-called Kosovo, to organize militarily. "We believe this is an anti-Serb military alliance promoted by certain Western countries, primarily Germany, whose military strengthening is a cause for concern. We regret that Europe as a political community is increasingly becoming a military structure, and we must carefully consider relations and developments involving certain structures", Dodik said. Dodik added that he used the opportunity to point out Republika Srpska's desire to continue planned economic cooperation, stressing that cultural cooperation remains at a high level. "We are trying to maintain the economic functions and activities that companies from the Russian Federation had in Republika Srpska and to see how we can help", Dodik added. Within that context, he said they also discussed regional and global developments, stressing that they share identical views. They also discussed possible meetings related to the economy and ways in which the Russian Federation could assist Republika Srpska in that area. Dodik noted that this is very difficult given restrictions imposed by the West, but reiterated that Republika Srpska has never supported any measures or sanctions against the Russian Federation. "We clearly support the special military operation and want Russia to achieve its goals so that the war ends in accordance with Russian objectives", Dodik said, adding that he welcomes efforts by the Russian leadership to reach a peace agreement and end the conflict as soon as possible.
