NOTHING IS SACRED TO MONSTERS - THE OLDEST VICTIM WAS 92 YEARS OLD, AND THE YOUNGEST WAS 18 MONTHS OLD
ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, MAY 31 /SRNA/ - After the war, the bodies of the murdered Serbs from Ledići were exhumed from two mass graves and one individual grave.
The exhumation of mass graves at the Javorska Kosa site, Treskavica, in the wider area of the village of Rakitnica was carried out from September 25 to September 27, 2001, and the remains of 12 people were found, namely: Danijela Tešanović, Rade Tešanović, Slavojska Vasić, Radojka Vasić, Milenko Tešanović, Vinka Tešanović, Milorad Tešanović, Nevenka Tešanović, Milun Tešanović, Slađana Sekulić, Dragomir Tešanović, and Savo Kenjić. The bodies of Mara and Nenad Vasić were exhumed from an individual grave on September 28, 2009 in the village of Dejčići, municipality of federal Trnovo. TWENTY-TWO VICTIMS OF THE MASSACRE According to the Republic Center for the Research of War, War Crimes and the Search for Missing Persons, during the attack on the Serb village of Ledići in June 1992, 22 people were killed, while one person, Dragan /Miro/ Vasić, born in 1981, was wounded. The victims were: Zora /Jovan/ Vasić /1919-June 18, 1992/, Ikonija /Lazar/ Vasić (1900-June 18, 1992), Ljubica /Đuro/ Vasić /1908-June 18, 1992/, Mara /Drago/ Vasić /1930-June 4, 1992/, Milka /Danilo/ Vasić /1934-June 18, 1992/, Nenad /Ostoja/ Vasić /1931-June 4, 1992/, Radojka /Miloš/ Vasić /1954-June 6, 1992/, Savka /Nikola/ Vasić /1914-July 5, 1992/, Slavojka /Miloš/ Vasić /1963-June 6, 1964/. 1992/, Savo /Ljubo/ Kenjić /1933-June 6, 1992/, Milenko /Milan/ Miovčić /1923-August 11, 1992/, Radoslav /Aleksa/ Miovčić /1922-July 10, 1992/, Tankosava /Jovica/ Miovčić /1922-June 18, 1992/, Slađana /Veljko/ Selaković /1979-June 6, 1992/, Vinka /Rajko/ Tešanović /1970-June 6, 1992/, Danijela /Milorad/ Tešanović /1980-June 6, 1992/, Dragomir /Milorad/ Tešanović /1982-June 6, 1992/, Milenko /Milivoje/ Tešanović /1960-June 6, 1992/, Milorad /Drago/ Tešanović /1956-June 6, 1992/, Milun /Rade/ Tešanović /1991-June 6, 1992/, Nevenka /Mladen/ Tešanović /1957-June 6, 1992/ and Rade /Milivoje/ Tešanović /1964-June 6, 1992/. From this data it is evident that the oldest victim was 92 years old, and the youngest was only 18 months old. BiH JUDICIARY, OR BETTER TO SAY, THE CRIMINAL JUDGMENT, IS RELEASEING AN ACQUITTAL VERDICT BECAUSE "THERE IS NO EVIDENCE," ETHNIC CLEANSING WITHOUT PUNISHMENT The Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed, and the Court of BiH confirmed in 2014, an indictment against Edhem Godinjak, Medaris Šarić, and Mirko Bunoza on suspicion of committing crimes against the civilian population and prisoners of war in the wider area of the municipality of Trnovo. They were accused of knowingly and willingly participating in a joint criminal enterprise with the common goal of multiple deprivation of life of civilians of Serb nationality in villages in the territory of the municipality of Trnovo, unlawful arrest and imprisonment and burning of property, and deprivation of life and inhuman treatment of captured members of the Republika Srpska Army in detention facilities established in the territory of the municipality of Trnovo. This indictment also covers the crime in Ledići committed in June 1992. All three were acquitted by the first-instance verdict of the Court of BiH in 2021. In the reasoning of the verdict, the Court stated that "the Prosecutor's Office of BiH did not prove beyond reasonable doubt the participation of the accused in the joint criminal enterprise," nor their command and individual responsibility. The final judgment of the Appellate Panel of the Court of BiH from 2022 confirmed the first-instance acquittal. With this decision, the Serb victims from Ledići were killed once again, because as usual when it comes to Serb victims, the so-called Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH issue acquittals because "there is not enough evidence". And Ledići - a crime without punishment.
