MINIĆ: SEVERAL DECISIONS ON PUBLIC INVESTMENTS ADOPTED
PALE, JUNE 4 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić says that at today's Government session in Pale, several decisions were adopted concerning public investments in Republika Srpska, both for cities and municipalities and for public institutions and enterprises important for Republika Srpska's development.
The adopted information on the priority capital project "Support for Capital Projects in Istočno Sarajevo City," as well as information on the priority capital projects "Implementation of Capital Projects in Pale Municipality" and "Implementation of Capital Projects in Trnovo Municipality". "I am pleased, especially because we are holding the Government session here in Pale and because, during the talks held with Istočno Sarajevo Mayor Ljubiša Ćosić, I agreed that, both at the city's request and upon its proposal, we will undertake additional activities related to the city," Minić said. He emphasized that, as prime minister, he was pleased that many local communities had been accommodated. Speaking about the procurement and equipping of a facility to serve as the accommodation and headquarters of the organisational unit of the Republika Srpska Civil Protection Administration – the Water Protection and Rescue Team in the municipality of Bratunac, Minić assessed that this was of great importance for the eastern part of Republika Srpska. "We often quickly forget when a natural disaster or any kind of emergency occurs, but when there is a need to respond immediately, it is good to be prepared. I believe that, in any case, we must have such capacities," the prime minister said. He noted that cooperation with local communities is transparent and that the Government, in this part of Republika Srpska, has provided support to every municipality and city.
