MINIĆ: HIGHWAY - HISTORICAL CONNECTION BETWEEN SRPSKA AND SERBIA
BIJELJINA, JUNE 12 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić stated that the beginning of the construction of the Bijeljina-Brčko highway section is part of a large project of historically connecting Republika Srpska and Serbia.
Minić reminded that this historic project was agreed upon by Presidents Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić. "It is not just a road, it is a historical connection, a historical path, which we walked when things were at their most difficult. In the future, it will be the path we take when things are at their best. Long live Republika Srpska," Minić pointed out in Velika Obarska near Bijeljina at the ceremony marking the start of the construction of the Bijeljina-Brčko highway section, which is 17 kilometers long. He stated that the construction of the new Bijeljina-Brčko highway section represents the true picture of Republika Srpska, and that it is what is seen every day in Srpska. "People return and investments arrive via the highway. In Republika Srpska, electricity is the cheapest compared to the surroundings, as is oil," Minić pointed out. Minić emphasized that Republika Srpska is raising salaries, and doing everything essential to raise the living standard of the most vulnerable categories of society. "We are creating the environment that Srpska deserves and that we want. We want to visit every single village, every city, municipality, and say that work and construction are happening there," Minić stated. He mentioned that SNSD leader Milorad Dodik and he are intensively touring the entire Republika Srpska, stating that today it can be said that Srpska is a beautiful place to live. "I wish for these works to proceed at the expected intensity. Srpska makes contracts with Chinese companies, she is the one who is a partner and can say she has the strength and capacity. After everything that unfairly happened to us in the past years, there will be BAM 6.6 billion in investments, and even more. Republika Srpska will be an even more beautiful and dearer place to live," Minić pointed out.
