DODIK: SRPSKA FUNCTIONS WITHOUT PROBLEMS, EVERYTHING ELSE IN BiH IS IN POLITICAL CHAOS
GRADIŠKA, JUNE 18 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that Republika Srpska is stable and functioning without problems, while everything else in BiH is in political chaos.
Dodik stated that Republika Srpska is overcoming tendencies aimed at centralising BiH. He stressed that BiH is not a sovereign country, but a colony and a training ground for third-rate foreigners, adding that all peoples in it are dissatisfied and that solutions should be sought. “We believe that every nation has the right to its own state. We do not dispute the right of Muslims or Croats to have their own state, but we Serbs also believe that we should have our own state, and we work on that every day,” Dodik told reporters in Gradiška ahead of a panel titled “Geo/Strategic Direction of Republika Srpska.” Dodik stated that Republika Srpska has for years been exposed to numerous problems at the level of BiH, as well as attempts to impose the supremacy of joint institutions over the institutions of Republika Srpska, contrary to the Dayton Agreement. “From such a distorted approach, we now have the collapse of BiH’s foreign policy, which represents only the Muslim component and sends false information across Europe and the world to their partners who want to hear it and think it is acceptable,” Dodik said. He added that, because of this, Republika Srpska must position itself to explain its own view of the political situation in BiH internationally, as well as to explain the current situation to the citizens of Srpska. Without internal stability, Dodik says, Republika Srpska cannot have any role in the currently unstable global political scene, and its positioning also requires an understanding of geopolitical developments. “The world is no longer unipolar, but a new multipolar world is being formed, with multiple centres of power and decision-making,” Dodik said.
