THREE RUSSIAN CITIZENS SERIOUSLY INJURED IN PRIJAKOVCI NEAR BANJA LUKA
SARAJEVO, JUNE 21 /SRNA/ – Three Russian citizens were seriously injured in a major traffic accident in Prijakovci near Banja Luka, the Russian Embassy in BiH confirmed, adding that it is closely monitoring the situation of injured family and providing the necessary assistance.
In a statement published on its Telegram channel, the Russian Embassy said that a family of Russian citizens, a married couple and their young child, was injured yesterday in a traffic accident on the Banja Luka–Prijedor main road. “The Russian citizens were transported to the Republika Srpska University Clinical Centre in Banja Luka. The Russian Embassy is in contact with the competent authorities in Republika Srpska regarding this matter and is closely monitoring the condition of the injured persons, providing them with all necessary assistance,” the statement said. Acting Director of the University Clinical Centre, Nikola Šobot, said yesterday that the man and woman were in life-threatening condition, while the child had been admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit. “These are critically injured individuals, and everything possible is being done to stabilize their condition,” Šobot told RTRS. In the serious traffic accident that occurred yesterday in Prijakovci near Banja Luka, two women and one man lost their lives.
