BAM 30,000 DONATED TO THE MAJSTOROVIĆ FAMILY FROM DERVENTA
BANJA LUKA, JUNE 25 /SRNA/ – Nova Banka has donated BAM 30,000 to the Majstorović family from Derventa, whose house, workshop, machinery, and vehicles were destroyed in a recent fire.
With this donation, Nova Banka joined a major humanitarian campaign that has brought together businesspeople, institutions, and citizens from across BiH and the region with the goal of helping the Majstorović family make a fresh start. "When the life of a family is completely transformed in just a few hours, a helping hand can mean far more than financial assistance; it can restore faith that no hardship is insurmountable when a community shows solidarity," Nova Banka announced. Stefan Pajić, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Nova Banka, said that the donation is not only financial support for rebuilding the Majstorović family's home, but also an expression of sincere solidarity and a belief that collective action can help people get back on their feet. He expressed hope that the initiative would encourage others to contribute, as much as they can, to the restoration of the family’s home and livelihood. He emphasized that Nova Banka is not merely a financial institution, but also an integral part of the community in which it operates. One of the initiators of the humanitarian campaign, Milanko Balešević, thanked the bank's management and owner Mladen Milanović for the donation for recognizing the need for assistance and support the family in need. The bank noted that humanitarianism and social responsibility are values that Nova Banka consistently upholds, following the vision of its owner, Mladen Milanović, whose numerous charitable activities have left a lasting impact across BiH over the years. Through assistance to families left homeless, the construction of homes for large families, support for medical treatment and children's education, and numerous other initiatives, Milanović has demonstrated that success has its greatest value when shared with those most in need, the statement said. The Majstorović family from Derventa lost their house, auxiliary buildings, workshop, and vehicles in a fire that broke out on June 22.
