UNACCEPTABLE, DANGEROUS AND INCENDIARY STATEMENTS FROM FBiH
BANJA LUKA, JUNE 26 /SRNA/ - The Association of Patriots of Republika Srpska warned that statements by officials and leaders of political parties from the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ are unacceptable, very dangerous, and incendiary, as they involve the recycling of narratives based on warmongering rhetoric and hatred toward Republika Srpska and its officials, as well as everything Serbian.
The Association of Patriots warned the public in Republika Srpska and BiH that statements by FBiH politicians such as Bakir Izetbegović, Elmedin Konaković, Zukan Helez, and others are unacceptable, as they are directed against the holders of political and state authority in Republika Srpska. They say that when officials from the FBiH fail to achieve their intended objectives democratically, in accordance with the laws they themselves adopted, they resort to the worst option, direct and open threats of the use of force. "Which force exactly did Izetbegović mean when he said that `Dodik should be stopped by force`? Is it the force he referred to when speaking about producing and procuring weapons - howitzers, drones, and similar, for a `God forbid` scenario? Or is it the same force mentioned when calls were made for the physical elimination of Milorad Dodik and other prominent Serbs?" the Association asked. The Association of Patriots further asked whether this is also the force that was planned to be used through international military forces in BiH for the announced arrests of Milorad Dodik, Radovan Višković, Nenad Stevandić, and others, all under the direction of Christian Schmidt. The Association says that countless such and similar questions serve as a warning and call for caution, to avoid a catastrophe in BiH that could result from the implementation of an unreasonable policy of the Federation of BiH. "By threatening individuals, they are most directly threatening Republika Srpska. Can and should Republika Srpska remain deaf and silent in the face of such threats?" the Association asked. The Association called on all patriotic forces in Republika Srpska to publicly raise their voice against announcements of hostile activity, and urged the competent institutions of Republika Srpska to take measures and actions within their legal authority. "First and foremost, the Ministry of the Interior, whose primary task is to ensure the personal and property safety of every citizen and the regular functioning of all institutions of the governing system in Srpska, based on the Constitution and laws of Republika Srpska," reads the statement, signed by the president of the Association Slobodan Župljanin.
