SRPSKA IS SACRED AND SHOULD BECOME MYTH
DOBOJ, JUNE 27 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska is sacred and should become a myth, President Milorad Dodik said.
Dodik pointed out that political competition locally is legitimate and should be completely normal, but at the BiH level, Republika Srpska should and must demonstrate complete unity. "We must clearly know our strategic goals, carefully assess them and defend them. If we fail to do so, all those who are ill-intentioned or wish harm to Republika Srpska will eventually succeed if we are not united," Dodik concluded. Dodik said that Vidovdan is also a great mythical date in the history of Serbs, from the Battle of Kosovo throughout history. "Many successes, but also some tragic events of our people, are linked to Vidovdan, which is why it holds special significance. On that day, the Republika Srpska institutions pay tribute to all those who contributed to its development, and there is no doubt that our soldiers are those who have left the greatest mark in history," Dodik said. He recalled the persistent efforts to improve the status of the veteran population, assessing that a high level of attention had been maintained towards veterans. Dodik said that this issue has now been addressed systematically by increasing and establishing the veterans allowance and all other benefits related to veterans. "Republika Srpska is sacred. We should make it a myth for the generations to come, gather them around it and pass Republika Srpska on to them with the firm conviction that it must be defended and survive, that it must not be undermined, because that could happen. Politicians must take more care," Dodik told the press in Doboj.
